JOB TITLE:          RIW Shop/Office Administrator
SUPERVISOR:  General Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Our Custom Metal Fabrication Shop/Office Administrator supports our whole business of from shop to sales with amazing customer service skills, trustworthiness and a “CAN DO” approach. This is the point person for all customers, vendors, employees and guests, who communicates courteously to determine their nature of business ensuring they get what they need.  

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILTIES: 

  • Greets and guides visitors and staff assisting within with their needs.
  • Adhere to all company policies. SSQP & RITE.
  • Professionally represents company at all times.
  • Answers, screens, and routes incoming calls and takes messages.
  • Maintains uniform correspondence procedures practices.
  • Maintains reception area in neat and orderly condition
  • Maintains POSITIVE attitude.
  • Generates bookkeeping in Quickbooks (i.e. AR, AP, some HR)
  • Organizes and files records ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
  • Assist with purchasing consumables & job-related materials.
  • Ability to stoop/bend/kneel/crouch/balance/climb
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Other duties as needed.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

  • Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to Multitask
  • Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Prior experience in Office Administration.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Rubin Iron Works’ Fab Shop Machine Operator works closely with shop lead and team to safely generate jobs utilizing press breaks, shears, and plate rollers maximizing quality, efficiency, and accuracy.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILTIES: 

  • Operates Hydraulic and Mechanical Press Brakes safely, efficiently and accurately.
  • Operates Hydraulic Plate Shear safely, efficiently and accurately.
  • Operates Hydraulic and Mechanical Plate Rollers safely, efficiently and accurately.
  • Immediately reports maintenance and repair needs.
  • Reads and understands production records, shop drawings, blueprints and database. 
  • Maintains equipment and work area with high housekeeping standards.
  • Understands and follows company safety rules and wears all proper PPE.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 to 5 Years’ experience operating Press Brakes, Shears, or Plate Rollers.
  • Excellent mechanical skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate different types of equipment including overhead cranes, forklifts and basic hand tools.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our Fitter/Fabricator’s assist with the completion of all custom fabrication jobs from beginning to end while maintaining the highest levels of safety and quality.  This role requires effective communication, time management, team collaboration, and good housekeeping.  Safety – Service – Quality – Production.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILTIES: 

  • Reads Shop Drawings to determine scope & material.
  • Looks at flat drawings, picture, or blueprints and visualize how they look as solid objects with height/width/depth.
  • Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
  • Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
  • Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment.
  • Assembles parts by bolting.
  • Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts, using cutting torch, straightening press, and hand-tools.
  • Works in team environment or independently to get jobs completed.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Operates forklifts, overhead cranes, & carry cranes.
  • Unloads customer vehicles.
  • Works within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
  • Maintains a high standard of housekeeping.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years Fitter/Fabrication experience.
  • MUST adhere to Company policies and rules and to promote safety standards.
  • Experience with structural and miscellaneous fabrication.
  • Familiarity with all fabrication equipment & tools.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Maintain a positive, respectful attitude with a strong sense of honesty and reliability.
  • Ability to stoop/bend/kneel/crouch/balance/climb and stand or be seated for extended periods.

JOB TITLE:  Maintenance Mechanic

SUPERVISOR: Maintenance Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the maintenance department in facility care, machine operation, facility improvements, and any other required maintenance projects. 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILTIES: 

  • Responsible for welding/fitting on various projects around facility.
  • Responsible for assisting with any maintenance projects around facility.
  • Able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Maintains equipment and work area in order to safely perform duties.
  • Understands and follows company safety rules and wears all proper PPE.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Facility improvements including painting and cleaning
  • Perform physical portion of job, walking, lifting, etc.
  • Other tasks/duties as assigned
